SCOUT CHURCH PARADE.

A parade of Hoy Scouts tcok place on Sunday at tbe Korean Catholic Church. About 42 bovs -attended under the command of Assntant-Scoutmaster Farrtly. The Kev. Father "Skinner preached an eloquent atd appropriate sermon from the text "Friend, go ut higher." he leTarked upon the smait appearatca of tlm lads, and urged them ta be true and loyal ta God and the King. He said thai as Scouts they were servants of the King, but as Christians thsy should prepare for the best kind of promotion in the service ot Jesus, who was Emperor of the great Spiritual Empire. The boys would meet with maty obstacles in their efforts to be true men, but they must obey the instructions of their parents and Spiritual teachers, and not Le afraid of being called "wowsers" if that meant the upholding ol pure living and devotion to God.

One object of the parade was to demonstrate the fact that the Scout movement was in no sense a sectarian affair. Tbe boys attended the service voluntarily, and with tbe full permission of their parents and officers.
