Public Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Franklin County Council, held on Thursday the Bth day of July, 1915, resolutions were passed intended to operate as Special Ordeis, as follows: — 1. Declaring all District and County Roads of the Franklin County situate and lying within the Mercer, Tuakau and Waiuku Town Districts respectively, to be under the exclusive control of the Mercer, Tuakau and Waiuku Town Boards respectively, and directing that the cost of constructing and maintaining same shall be borne by the said Boards respectively. 2. Directing that all Special Rates payable in the Tuakau and Waiuku Town Districts respectively in respect of Franklin County Council Loans shall be collected for and ou behalf of the Franklin County Council by the Tuakau and Waiuku Towu Boards respectively. 3. Delegating to the Mercer, Tuakau and Waiuku Town Boards respectively all powers conforred on the Franklin County Council of making and levying Goueral Rates within tho Mercer, Tuakau and Waiuku Town Districts respectively. And the said resolutions will be submitted for confirmation at the next oidinarj' monthly meeting of the Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Hall Street, Pukekohe, on Thursday, the 2nd day of September, 1015, at 2 p.m. A copy of the proposed Special Orders is deposited at the oihee of the Council and is open to the inspection of tho public during office hours, I Dated at Pukekohe this Mb day of August, 1915.
