On Wednc:day night njxt a magnificent picture portrayal ot "The Romance of David Gaitirk" will be screened. As is well known David Garnck was the greatest actor of his petiod. The story of this Bcreenicg is a true incident in the unique history of hia life. The daughter of a wealthy man (alls madly in love with Garrick, who discovering her social |osi'ion and great wealth nalises Bhe it not fur him. The father i.ot aware that Garrick loves lis daughter otfers him a large aum to break hia daughter's infatuation. Garrick refuses the money, hut accepts an invitation to the home to dine. During the dinner the girl is shocked to cote Garrck's coarse behaviour and drunken manner. So well did Garrick act his part that the girl became miserable and the father regretted the whole affair, while Garrick returna home tired and heart sick. One of the guests discovered the ruse and informed tbe giM. She accuses her father of tbe deception, and he shamefacedly admitted the truth. Together they visit Garrick's home, and in appreciation of bis sterling qualities the fnther says: "Mr Garrick, will you do me the honour of accepting my daughter for your wife." Other subjects include good war topicals, etc., alsj a humorous Keystone comedy featuring "Fatty."
