The dairy cowa realised from £7 10b to £lO 6s for be«.t, others £4 to £6 15a; farm horses, £22 10s to £2B; pigs, slips, £1 4s; reaper and bidder, £23; drill, £2l. The implements and sundries sold at usual values. We held a special Bsle of dairy stock at Pokekohe on Saturday, July 24th, when more than the advertised number came forward. Buyers were u attendance, and practically everything soM. Best cows brv;Ubgt from £9 to £l2 10s, others £6 to £8 10a ,* best h ifers, £8 to £ll ss, smaller £4 103 to £6 s*.

At jlenbro k, on Tuesday, July 27th, we held a dealing sale on account of Mr T. K. Goodwin. Tneie was a large attendance and a good snle resulted. Best cows, made from £ll 10s to £ls, others £7 to £lO 10s; rows in pig, 3Jgns t) 6Jgns; torses, £'J to £l2; cart and harness, £7 153; tine harrowp, £2 ss; imwer, £9; due ploughs, £b 5s and £IU 10s. On Wednesday last at our wtckly Westfield tat stock market our supply of beef totalled 303 head, composing 194 steers, 105 cows and heifers, 4 bull*. I here was an extra keen demand wi'h another sharp riae Id prices. Values reali-.ed wire easily a record for Wettfuld. Choice ox sold at £2 10s, prime £2 6s to £2 9s, ordinary beef £2 to £2 4s, cows and htiftrs £1 17s t> £2 7s. Steers ranged in price from £lO 15s to £27 2s 6d; cows and heifers, £6 to £7 15b. Eight Email but choice steerj from Mr George Hull, Otaua, £lB 12a 6d; and 16 from Messrs Friedlander Bros.' Surrey Farm, l'okeno, £l6 17s 6d. Fat and young calves came forward in large numbers and sold freely at last week's values. Runners sold to £8 12) 6d: heavy suckers, £4 10s to £5 17s; medium suckers, £2 12s to £?> 15s; lighter, £1 17- to £2 10s; light, £1 5s to £1 16s; small and freßh droppsd, 3s to £1 2s. 144 said. Sheep penned in increased numbers and met with a firm sale, values beirg unchanged except in a few cases of extra h-avy wethers and these were a trifle easier.
