PUKEKOHE EAST.
A dance in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund was held in the above hall on Tuesday lest. Large numbers were present from Pokekohe and surrounding c istricts, and also from Auckland. The music supplied by Mrs Keanc was of the usual high order, extras being played by Mesfrs Herbert, etc. A sirg rendered by Mr Jack Banks received great applause. Dancing was kept up until the. small hours of the morning, the floor bei r g in perfect order.
