WEDDING BELLS.
Robinson—McGowan.
On Wednesday, in the Anglican Church-, Waiuku, a pretty wedding, id which much interest was taken, was celebiated by the Rev. J. C. Fuisell, between Mr William Robinson, creamery manager of Patomahoe, and Miss Alice Mctiowan, daubgter of the late Mr McGowan, ot Waipipi. The brid<\ who wa3 given away by her brothre, Mr T. Mr.Guwan, was charmingly attired v in a dres9 of cream satin, tiimmtd *nh gympe, beirg also crowned with the orthodox veil and orange blossom?, and she carried a beautiful bcuquetof whits Mowers. She was attended by her two sisters, Misses Annie arcl Sarah McGowar, who wore pretty drees.a of cream cashmere and black beaver hat*. The bridegroom had as hif-toeot man Mr D. McFadden. "After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at the premises of Messrs (J. ArklJ and Sons, where a large number were entertained at a splendid repast. The wedding cake was a tine three-decker, bearing the usual ornamentations, and was made by Mr Arkle, jui:r. A special feature was the decoration of the tables with flags, ferns and spring flowers, for which Mrs Arkle and Miss S. aedgwick were responsible. The usual toasts were honoured; that ot the happy couple being proposed by Mr T. McGowan. In the afterncon Mr aid Mrs Robinson ielt by Mr Parker's motor car for Pukekohe, en route for Rotorua, where the honeymoon is being spent, the bri'e travelling in a navy blue costume with hat to match. The happy couple were the recipients of rmny presents from their large circle of friends.
