Messrs J. T. Stembiidge and Co. report:—At our usual weekly sale on Friday we had a good attendance, and bidding was brisk throughout. Figs and poultry came forward short of demand, and realised—Pigs, slips, small, lis to 12s 6rf, no weaners were yarded; fowls fetched from Is to Is 7d. Potatoes, onions and pumpkins were short of requirements and sold. —r'otatoes 7s c«t, onions ljd lb, pumpkins 5s cwt. Cabbage made Is dozen, cauliflower* 3d to 6d each. In fruit a very poor class of apples rame forward and sold from 9d to 2a per case. . Miscellaneous gooCs realised usual prices.
