The following are the statistics of the Pukekohe Magistrate's Court for the talf-year ending Juue 3Jth last, shown for the re?pect : ve quarterly periods, viz. Quaiter ending March 318t. Police Cases 30, Conviction 25, Criminal Fees and Fines paid £8 17s. Civil Cases. —Plaints entered 246, Heard 51, Amount Recovered £3BB 7s 7d, Civil Fees paid, £SO 13s. Quarter ending June 30tb. Police Cases 48, all convicted, Criminal Fe;s and Fines paid £3l 4s. Civil cases.—Plaints entered 65, Heard 32, Amount Recovered £345 lis 4d, Civil Fees paid £SO 2s. It should be explained that the plaints entered in tbe quarter ending March 31st included the large series of County Council summonses, which did not come on for bearing until the present month (July).
