A MAINTENANCE CASE
A separation order was granted against Peter Henry L. Augustin, late of P?tuinahoe, and now of Puriri, for having neglected and tailed to maintain his wife and family, the defendant being ordered to contribute 10s a week for his wife's maintenance and Is 6J each per week in respect of his six children, and also to pay £1 9i costs. JUDGMENTS. Judgments by default were entered for plaintiffs in the following rase?, viz.: Lapwood Bros. (Mr Hac'dow) v. Toku (a Maori), £l3 lis 5d and £1 15s 6d costs; same v. Kaihau (a Maori), £22 )0s yd and £3 14s costs; W. RouUtcn (Mr Hopkios) v. C. J. Clark, Waiau Pa, £1 4s and Us costs At the instance of L. Runciman, of Mauku (Mr Hopkins), an order by consent was made against F. A. Awdry tor recovery ot wilhia fourteen days, with costs £1 17s, and judgment by consent was also entered up for Lapwood Bros. v. Sam Cowcll for £4 lua Sd and £1 6s costs. In the defended case of E. Nixon v. A. Evison, b'jtn of judgment for the former wa? entered for £lO us «d and £4 2i cost?.
