English Battleship Torpedoed. By Telegram, This Day. The High Commissioner cables, from London under date of May 13th, 6.25 p.m.:— "Mr Churchill has announced that the battleship Goliath was torpedoed in the Dardanelles on Wednesday in torpedo attack by destroyers while protecting the French Hank. "Twenty officer* and 160 ef tbe crew were saved. "Between 400 ard 500 lives were lost. "Ihe submarine EI4 sunk two Turkish gunboats ami a transport in the Sea of Marmora." rr a
