Over 120 men are at presen' emplojed on the Waiuku railway, formation work being in hand up to a point six miles 78 chains from Faerata, the junction with the Main' Trunk line. Eleven chains from Faerata a girder bridge of five spans is being built, i'wo formation contracts are also in progress, where employment is being riven to a further i'O men. It is understood that the fiiiowing stations are to he cnrHtru.ied; - Helvetia, 2 miles 53 chains from Faerata; Fatun:ahoe, 4 rr-j f>s chains; Mauku, G miles 10 cfc.. : r.>-: Ciecbrcok. 7 miles 62 ciuWaiuku, 12 mileß 50 chair", addition, stations will be bum at points 10 miles 10 chains and 11 miles 30 chains from Paerata.
