PUKEKOHE STOCK SALE.
At their usual monthly sale held last Monday in their Pukekohe yards. Measra Alfred bucklaod and Sons report a very big yarding in all departments with ready sales. Current prices were maintained except that calves reached a higher figure than of late. Dairy cows sold at from £5 to £lO 10b, empty young cows from £3 10s to ±'4 16s, store cows £2 10a to £3 10s, and yearling to 18 months' heifers £2 5s to £3 5?. Steers, 3 A to 4J-years-old, in forward condition, made £9 5s to £lO ss, 3 to 4-year-olds £7 10a to £9, 2 to 3-year-olds £6 7s to £7, L 8 moonths to 2 years £4 to £5 ss, ind yearlings to 18 months £3 3s to £3 J 78. Good heiter calves made from 28s Itn 38s, good steer ditto £2 2s to £2 .12', calves, mixed sexes, 25s to 375, smaller 16s to 235, and weedy 10s to 15s. Beit, of which there' was a full yarding, sold steadily throughout. Cows and heifers fetched from £4 \os to £ll 10s, and steers £9 5s to £l3 ss. Hulls, heavy, realised £7 to lOgns, small £3 10s to £6, and well-bred young bulla sgns to 9gns.
