PICTURE CONCERT.
Premier Hall—To-night
The school children's picture concert which is being held in the above hall to-nght comprises one <>f the best collections of subjects that have been screened here for many a day. Besides the fine programme arranged the Lyceum management have eecured an interesting war topical containing salient features of the doings at home and abroad, also direct from the seat of war, "With the Allies in Flinders" shows the retreat from Ypre?, while the one chief dramatic feature is one of special appeal, "The Angel of Contention," dealing with love and life in an American mining camp. Besides others there is an extraordinary Keystune comedy, "Laughing Gas." Laughing gas sends yo i to sleep—this Keystone wakes you up. lhe Lyciuui Company are gmng 50 p?r cent, cf the gross uroceufs to the children's funds, and as this carries a Government subsidy £ for £ the public should nit miss the nupnrtunity of making good this generons offer. A number of children will also give items.
