That the "Pukekohe Timea" goes far sfield ar.d is appreciated by readers even in a toreign country is evidenced from the following extract of a letter received by a resident of Mauku from LieuN Haeita, now serving with the New Zealand Expedite nary Force in Egypt, viz.,:"l saw a copy of the "Pukekohe Timei" the other day and am glad to see it prospering so well, especially new it has a supplement. It is far and away ahead of the papers here."
