POKENO.

Another uf the quarterly socials, under the management of the Preshylerian B;ble C!a~s, Pokeno, was held on the 11th inst. and was one of the most euccissful held so far. A programme of games aid musical items was thoroujhly enjoyed by ali those present. The following contributed musical items, viz., Mrs Narby, Mr Hick?, Mi:s J. Kearney, Miss E. Kearney, Mr Andrews and Mr A. Bourne. Miss Le^is recited. Supper was eupplied and served by members of the Bible Class. At the close of the evening Mr Kearney congratulated members on the satisfactory progress that they had made in their studies.
