FRIVOLITY ENTERTAINERS AT BOMBAY.
The entertainment given at Bombay on Friday night last by the I'ukekohe Frivolity Entertainers proved a huge success. There was was a large ami appreciative audience, and the programme throughout wont with a blight and breezy swing. The stago was artistically decorated, as is usual with the " Frivs.' 1
The first pin was opened with an overture by Messrs Claude lii( kit (piano), Fred Miir.-hall und Geo. Osboine (violin). Tho choruses by tho company wore ot the latest and wont well. Messrs O'Malley, Gribble, Guest and Flynn as tho cornermen kept the audience in a roar of laughter with their latest hits and jokes. A specialty turn by Messrs Gribble and O'Malloy was humorous and well done. The different vocal items rendered by Messrs J. McKay, •T. Latta, J. Walleu, S. O'Mallev, fl. Gribble, W. Guest, W. Schwabe, and Master Rogers were well re* ceived. Mr Fred Marshall played a mandoline solo aud had to respond to two encores. Mr George Osborne's rendering of " Tho Blind Boy " (with violin obligato) was one of the gems of the evening. Mr W. Schwabe acted as interlocutor. After the concert a dance was held, when about 30 couple graced the iloor. The proceeds of the dance were hauded over to the Bombay School Fnnd, The concert was pronounced by all preseut as oue of the best that had been given in that district and a return visit of the entertainers at an early .date is eagerly looked for.
