The New Zealand Loan Company report:— At the Clevedon yards on Saturday there was an average yarding of stock, which sold at late rates,' At Pukekohe yards on Monday W0 held a special horse sale, when more than the advertised number came forward, and good sales resuited. Heavy draught horses sold at trom £2O to £37; medium ditto, £lB to £25; horses, £lO to £18; hacks, £8 to £18; colts, £8 to £l2 10s; ponies, £5 to £8 109; weeds, £1 upwards; sulkyj pony and harness realised £25. Unbroken draught colts and fillliea uold at from £ls to £22 10s; light sorts, £5 to £l4; yearlingß, £3 to £B.
Messrs Alfred Auckland and Sons report:— We held our usual monthly sales at Pokeno on Monday, 15th inst f and at Runciman on Tuesday, 16th" inst. In both cases the yard) were . comfortably filled and values ob- | tlined were similar to those ruling last month. Dairy cows and heifera, £4 10s to £9; fat cowa* and heifers, £5 53 ta £8 3s; empty cows, £2 18s to £4 17s; nice-condi-tioned two to two and a half-year-old steers, £6 8s to £7 12s. The advertiß:d grown Btcers did not come forward, but will be yarded at Pukekohe on Monday, the 22ijd. Yearling to 18-month tteera, £3 10i to £4 9s; heifers, same age, £2 5s to £3 15s;, good calves, £2 to £2 9?, smaller £1 10s to £1 17s, small £1 to £1 Bs, weedy 10s to 16s.
