WEDDING BELLS.
Evitt-Sawyer. A very' pretty wedding took place at St. Pa.r'sj Cnurcb, Bombay, on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Mr Murray Evitt. of the Maurgatawhiri Valley, and Miss Violet Mary Sawder, third daughter of Mr John Sawyer, Bombay. Tha Rev E. H. Wyatt officiated, and the bride was given away by her father. Miss Gladys Sawyer, sister of the bride, a:ted as bridesmaid, and Mr Warren, cf Auckland, was best man, and Mr P. Sawyer, of Wellington, being groomsman. The bride looked charming in green silk, tiimmed wits Brussels lace. Sue sore the usual veil, and orange blossoms. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Sawyer, was dressed in rrerne voile with a prettily shaded blue hat. Both the bride acd bridesmaid carried bouquas of asparagus fern and pink rosea. Miss F. Thomas played the Wedding March at the Church. The wedding breakfast was held at the Ivanhoe private boardnghouse, and *>as attended by 40 friends of the bride and bridegroom. honeynruon is being spsnt in Kutorua. Mr and Mrs Evitt were the recipients of many useful presents. A month previous to the foregoing wedding a sister of the bride was nmried at Bombay, and left later w.th her busbar.d tor Singapore, where they are to reside.
