POTTED PHILOSOPHY.
All a woman wants is to be want d.
We only know that (here is plenty of ruom at the top for those who have been there and fallen off. Beauty and punctuality never seem to go together. Give a beggar a coin and he mill be grateful enough to return for more.
A joy tide and a glad eye often go together.* Even a rogue's credit is good whilst his money lasts.
Some people's idea of saving money is to have things put down on the bill. It's foolish to trust a woman when you can get so many other thigs on credit. In the choice of evil, always chosse ore least likely to be found out.
Whpn rren are unhappy they often solace themselves by getting drunk, whi h possibly accourts for the fact of women getting tight by to-lacing themselves. Before marriage a girl sits up till midnight wishing he'd go home, and after marriage she sits up till midnight wishing he'd come heme. It is i libel on the sex to say that a woman cannot keep a secret. Who ever heard a woman gassing about her hat being retrimmed or bei back hair having been bought and paid for? Two of a mde seldom agree; that is why eo many married people ara better apart. What in youth is called passion, is, in old sge, vie. The world owes every man a job, but there are many who would not preßS their debtor too hard.
It takes two to make a quarrel, and another two to make it up. AH men are born free and equal, but moßt cf them spoil it by getting married. A man who is satisfied with himself does not want much. A woman always has her suspicions of a man who never lies to her.
Even experience falls down when it tries to teach a fjol.
