WEST COAST SPORTS.

Favoured by the bett of weather conditions the annual Waiuku-West Coast sports, held at the Beach oil Boxing Day, attracted a large crowd of holiday makers. Ihe sports proved of an interesting order, and produced plenty of fun and attraction for everybody. In addition to the events set out on tbe programme a number of race* for boys and girls keenly interested the juvenile section, suitable trophies being presented to the wieners. Very good sport was also provided by the horse events, which contributed largely to an enjoyable outing. A Various picnic parties.'alsn had little arrangements by way of side attractions on their own account, which further tended to make the outing enjoyable.
