LYCEUM PICTURES.
At the Premier Hall to-night and to-morrow ni(;ht the Lyceum management will screen a fine war Gazette. The series of events taken by Pathe Freres at the commencement of hostilities shows all the opening phases of the war, viz., Germany's declaration of war as an answer to Russia's military preparatioLß ; German reserves cheering for war outside the Embassey ; British Coastguards called up ; Mr Asquith making the momentous announcement at the House of Commons ; the news in Paris ; our Flag ship and our King and several other interesting topical events of the war. In conjunction with the war news a fine dramatic subject will bo screened entitled " The Moon shiners' Last Stand," which is a stirring adventurous story of Kentucky's mountains, and a real Indian frontier sensation showing Indian chiefs on the war path and a fierce battle with the U.S. troops. Also one of the greatest comedy screamers ever witnessed " The Tangled Cat," and topical gazette will be included in the programme.
