Holiday Excursion Tickets will be issued from any station to any station on the North Island Main Line and Branches from 18th December, 1914, to 2nd January, 1915, (inclusive), available for return up to and including 12th February, 1915. From 18th December to 11th January (both dates inclusive) Excursion Tickets issued at any station North of Taumaranui will NOT be available by the Main Trunk Express trains unless such tickets are for Taumaranui or South thereof, and Excursion Tickets available between Newmarket and STrankton, inclusive, Pukekohe excepted, will NOT be accepted on the 10.0 am. Auck-land-Rotorua Express Trains. From the 23rd December to 4th January, inclusive, Express Trains will leave Auckland daily (Sundays excepted) for Cambridge, Thames and Waihi at 9.15 a.m.; for Rotorua at 10.0 a.m. and for Taumaranui at 10.12 a.m. Express trains for Auckland will leave Eotorua at 9.0 a.m., Taumaranui at 8.30 am., Thames at 9.18 a.m., Waihi 9.40 a.m. and Cambridge 12.5 p.m. Cn Thursday, 24th December, a Special Express Train will leave Auckland for Eotorua at 10.22 p.m. This train will leave Eotorua on return journey at 8.45 p.m. on Sunday, 27th December.
