MAUNGATAWHIRI VALLEY
A great tribute was paid to the fattening qualities of our valley in a fine line of fat bullocks recently sold off the farm now occupied by Mr Charlton, and so many years in tbe possession of the Fagan family. The beasts were purchased by Messrs Glaßs Bros., of Mercer, and it is rumoured are part of a consignment destined eventually for Europe to help to feed our gallant soldiers.
