Sir, —Would you please make it known in your district, through your valuable paper, that there is ■ call for additional men to enlarge the New Zealand Contingent to fight for the very existence of our Empire, maintain our loyalty to the Old Flag, and the credit and safety of New Zealand, From Auckland Province 160 men for the mounted branch and 250 riflemen are wanted, to be in camp before the lGth December. Early personal application if deslrod at the Farmers' Union office," Albert street, Auckland, or through the secretary of the local branch of the Union.—l am, etc., d. a. LUSK, Prov. President, N.Z. N.B. —Only healthy young men, between the tges of 21 and 40, of good physique, minimum height sft •tin., maximum weight 12 stone, should offer themselves for thil service.
