MR GLASS AT WAIPIPI.
On Wednesday evening Mr A. G. C. Glass, thr Libera! candidate for Franklin, held a vary successful meeting in the Waipipi school.
Mr H. Furniss was chairman, and in introducing the speaker cm id be was out in the interest* of the Liberal party—that good old fatherly Government that had ruled the roost for 20 years, Mr Glass epuke for over an hour and received a good hearing. At the close of the addicu questions were asked and satisfactorily answered.
Un the motion of Mr Powell, seconded by Mi Kidgley, a vote of thanks and conlidccce to Mr Glass and coniinued confidence in the Liberal party was carried. A hearty vote ot thanks to the chairman, ar.d "Gnd Have ths Kins," with cherrs for "Our Boys at the War" brought the meeting to [a close.
