AKA AKA.
CADETS' DANCE SOCIAL
The Aka Aka senijur cadets, although unable to display theirpatriotic zeal by going to the front on active service, show such in no less degree by their interest and work in connection with the affairs of their district. Last Friday night they held a ball in the Aka Aka hall, organised by them on behalf of the Belgian Fund. The hall was nicely set off with a few flags, etc. The instructor of the 'corps, Lieut. Henry, kindly acted as M.C. Songs were contributed during the evening by Miss Muir and Mr H. Gribble. Dance music was supplied by Messrs W. Deed and if. Wattam, also Miss Muir, whilst Messrs Tong and Hicks, of a Waiuku party, contributed largely to the evening's enjoyment. Supper was provided by the ladies. A sum of £o was handed to the secretary of Waiuku Belgian Fund as the result of the social.
