BOWLING.
Pukekohe v. Waiuku. A bowling match was played on Thursday on tbe Waiuku green between the following Pukekohe representative*, H. Graham, I. Motion, U. Clark and A. B. Barter («kip) and a team of Waiuku bowlers consisting of A. M. Barriball, Mearns, Held and King («kip). The contest resulted in a win by 2 points fur Waiuku, the score being Waiuku 23, Pukekohe 21. This is the first occasion that Pukekohe players have been defeated by a Waiuku team. A further contest of 10 heads also ended in a victory for Waiuku by 14 pointa to <».
At the conclusion of th 6 mitch Mr Reid, president of the Waiuku Club, referred ti Mr Graham's forthcoming departure from the district, and wished him success in his future career. Mr Graham suitably responded.
