TOWN BOARD.

Meeting of Members. The Waiuku Town Board met on Tuesday evening to consider regulations dealing with the taking over of roads. In attendance were Messrs K. T. Reid (chairman), A. M. JBarziball, Jas; Walters, H. 0. Mellsop and Jas. Gribble. The plan of the proposed subdivision for Mrs McPherson, forwarded to the Board by Mr J. C. Simmonds, surveyor, for approval, was referred back, as the Board could not accept dedication under present conditions. The members thought that both roads shown on the plan should be put in order or the sections cut up large and anuiting on one road only. Mr Gribble handed in a draft copy of regulations dealing with the subdivision of estates and roading requirements of a local authority, also particulars of minimum building area fixed by various local bodies around Auckland. After discussion, with slight alterations and amendments, the regulations were considered quite suitable for adoption. Ihe clerk reported that he had received a letter from Franklin County Council notifying that a conference with the Board would be held at Pukekohe on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. —Various items for adjustment were discussed and arranged.
