" We nothing extenuate, nor set down aught in malice."
We aro pleased to be able to announce that the "Times" has been made the official organ of the Pukekohe Borough Council, the Tuakau Town Board, the Karaka Road Board, tho Drury Road Board and the Pukekohe West Road Board. By the arrangement that has been arrived at all tho advertisements of those bodies will appear in the "Tunes" in future for a stated period. Ratepayers of tho various bodies we have named may therefore take the "Times" witli the certainty that any announcement to be made by any aud all of those bodies n.ay be seen in our columns. The new arrangement was made as a bueinoss proposition—of advantage to the local bodies, and consequently to their ratepayers. Still the heartiness with which our proposals were met was very gratifying. We accept the new relationship as a compliment and regard it as a token of the confidence with which the great majority of public men of this district regard tho "Times."
