At Pukekohe on Monday they had a record yarding in all classes. There was an extra large attendance, and it was the most successful sale conducted in these yards. A pen of old cows a d an odd lot of small calves was all that failed to change rands. Forward four-year-old steers brought from £9 10s to £lO ss; three tj three and a-half y.ar-old ate rs, £8 to £9; two and a-half to three-year olds, £6 Isi to £7 10-; two-year-olds, £5 5s to £6 ss; yearling to 18-month steers, £3 6s to £4 15s; best calves, £2 10s to £3 os; smaller, £1 18s to £2 9-; ethers, £1 8s to £1 153; fresh empty cows, £5 to £6; store cow?, £4 to £4 17s; 18-rcontb heifeis, £3 10s tu £4 10s; yearling heifers, £2 15j to £4 4s: dairy cows and heifers, £5 5s to £lO 10s; bulls, £3 153 to £l2 12s, according to age and breed. The record entry of 176 fat cattle met with a firm sale at about Westiield tales. Steers made from £9 15s to £l3 10s, ard cows and heifers £6 to £ll 15s.
