WEDDING BELLS.

A marriage in which a good deal of local interest was shown took place at the Wesley Church, Waiuku, on September 23rd, the contracting parties beingg Mr Frank Loader, formerly resident in this district but now of Hamilton, and Miss Doris Barriball youngest daughter of Mr A. M. Bariball, of this town. The marriage took place in the early morning and was conducted by Rev. J. A. Cable. The service was a choral one, a good . muster of choir members being present. Some pretty decorations had been arranged in the church, including the erection of an arch ; anl marriage bill ever the altar, "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden" was sung as the bridal party entered the church, and at a later stage "Oh Perfect Love" was also rendered by the choir. The bride, who was attired in a neat tailormade costume, with black velvet hat and white plumes, was given away by her father. The bridesmaid, Miss Eva Barriball, was dressed in nattier blue, hat to match with white , feather. The bride carried a handsome bouquet of violets and asparagus, and the bridesmaid had one of heliotrope sweet peas and asparagus. The best man was Mr Herman S. Twidle, of Hamilton, As the wedding party left the church Mr W. A. Leach played the Wedding March. After the ceremony a quiet wedding breakfast took place at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. M. Barriball, only members of the family and relatives being present. The usual toasts were honoured and the newly married couple soon started out for Pukekohe by motor car to catch the train for Rotorua, where the honeymoon is to be spent. They were the recipients of valuable presents, and "Ieft with many goal wishes and amidst showers of rice. The lady members of the wedding party were Mrs A. M. Barriball black velvet dress, white panama hat, black plumes; Mrs Chandler, in navy blue costume, with tangerine hat;, Mrs James, navy blue costume, black hat with cerise plumes; Mrs Elmsly, brown costume and pretty white felt hat; Mrs Hair, navy costume; Mrs Alf. Bariball, dark costume, brown toque; Mrs Len. Barriball, navy costume, white hat, with blue band; Mrs Vic. Barriball, navy costume, blue felt hat; Mrs Joe Bariball, black silk; Miss Emily Barriball, navy costume, black hat; Miss Perry, navy dress, tango toque.
