Waiuku BranchA committ e meeting of the Waiuku branch of the Pakuranga Hunt Club took place at the Kentish hotel la;t Saturday evening, the Master, Mr R. T. Reid, presiding. Eight members ot tnc committee were prc:ent. Ihe arrangements for the (Uy's on September 24th were confirmed, and it was decided t) make an addition to the trogramme in a pcint-to-point steeplechase for ladies over a special course, the prizes to te trophies valued at 4 guineas and 2 guinea?. No entrance fee for the evert. It was decided to increase value of first prize in the other two point-to-point events to £5 each. The annual Hunt Club ball was fixed for Thursday, September 24th, and a committee was appointed to make all necessary arrangements. Trophies for the various events will be on view at Mr J. Cribble's shop window.
