Pukekohe—Thursday.

Before Mr F. V. Frazer, S.M. BREACH OF PROHIBITION ORDER.

James Stephens, who did not appear, was convicted, tined £2 and costs 7s, or in default seven days' imprisonment for being in possession of liquor during the currency of a prohibition order.

RIDING ON FOOTPATH. E. Gilroy and P. Boyd were each tiued os and 7s costs for riding on the footpath in Franklin Road.

BREACH OF PEACE

C. Whitmore proceeded against E. Gilroy. The trouble arose out of the breach of the by-law for riding on the footpath, and the allegation against defendant was that ho behaved in a manner whereby a in-each of the peace might have been occasioned. Defendant was convicted and ordered to pay costs 7s. The case was considered unimportant..
