Mr E. K'light received orders last week to join his regimeut, tho Stafford hires, which is leaving India for th n fioit. This caused him very keen riiiappointinent, and to use bis own words the only chance now is to try end get away with any other New Zcalsnd contingent that may be formed. Mr Knight saw five years' active service in 'he Soudan, where lie whb wounded Hnd received his corporal's stripes.
