MELI-SOP The chairman made feeling reference to the decease of the late Mr L. Mellsop, who was formerly clerk of the Board, and other members also spoke in ti similar strain. It was unanimously decided to place on record the Hoard :: regret at his sudden and sad demise, and the clerk was instructed to send | .litter conveying the Hoard's sympathy with Mrs MelNop and family in their bereavement The Hoard then adjourned for a time a- a mark uf respect. GENERAL KATE.

For clearing the remainder of Otaua creek above Bothwell bridge arrangements were left iu the bauds of Mr 11. 0. Mellsop.
