On Saturday, at the Pukekoho Gun Club's range, shooting opened with a live-bird swoopstokos. J. Wright won with four birds, J. Fausett second. J. Bloke .'i, W. Wilson, J. Reynolds, S. Fitness, A. P. Daysh, 2 each. Ten competitors tried for (ho Abbott Cup, a ton bird ovont, which was won by J. Fausett, 11 yds, with 10 birds. J. Wright 12, 8. Fitness 10,8 each; Daysh 11, K. Fausett 10, 7 each: J. Reynolds 11, Vujucich 11, J. Blako 10, ti ouch ; W. Wilson l.j, •"> ; W. Boato 11, 4. The six bird sweepstakes was won by J. Wright, W. Wilson second. Both got tlio possible but Wright's birds all fell t» first barrel. J. Fausett, W. Bouse, ,j ; J. Reynolds, J. Blake, S. Fitness, Daysh, E. Fautett, I : Vujucich 2.
