A slight departure was made from the usual procedure in connection with the St. James' Uand of Hope monthly meeting held last Ihursday night in the Masonic hall. In spite of the unpleasant weather about six'y children turned cut, besides a number of old scholars, teachers and parents. Following this a hearty supper was partaken of, and a very enjoyable cvenirg was brought to a close by the singing of the "National Anthem."
