OBITUARY.
Mr Henry Mason.
The many frknds Mr Hmry Mason made during the four years be resided at his farm on the Hill, Pukekohe, will regret to hear of his demise. The end was a most peaceful one. The deceased had reached the age of 72, and'was a native of Cambridge, England, having come to the Dominion 30 years ago. For twenty years Mr Mawn was employed in the Government service office at Wellington. He took great interest in all church work there, especially devoting himself to questions concerning the children. A year ago he retired from active life and went for a trip to Sydney, but his health broke down immediately upon his withdrawal from an energetic life. During his long illness he was most patient and uncomplaining, and spoke with much appreciation of the comfort Rev. S. Nixon, Mr S. Warnock and Mr J. Blake had been to him. Deceased leaves a widow, and his four children—Mrs Roberts and Mr Cecil Mason, Pukekohe Hill; Miss Maßon. Pukekohe; and Mrs Burge, Kandallah, Welling-ton-survive him. The funeral took place on Thursday, when Kev. S. Nixon conducted the service at the graveside.
