LYCEUM PICTURES.
Another striking programme of splendid photo plays will be screened at the Premier hall to-morrow night. The star feature of the evening is a line dramatic production by the Gaumont Company, entitled "The Hobbery at the Inn." The picture is absolutely realistic nnd abounds in elective episor'.es and startling situations. Another universally interesting and educational film is "Historic Oxford," picturing multitudinous points of great moment in and around the great 'varsity centre, also Maoriland's illustrated Journal, the N.Z. Animated News, is a fine number. Amongst others is an excruciatingly funny Keystone ccmedy "The Good Old Days' ; i "The Adopted Brother," ore of the A.fcf. popuhr dramas, particularly I well acted, and several other good subjects. Attention is drawn to the special scieening, on Tuesday a r d i Wednesday next, of Captain Scott's : journey to the Pole. The films to ! be screened are the only official pictures of Scott's ill-fated expediI tion. The sad fate of the gallant | band cast a gloom over the civilised world. At th? immediate conclusion of the series Scott's favourite hymn will he sung by Mr .lumen Markay; the audience are invited to join in singing the hymn.
