TE HIHI—KARAKA.
Through the kindness of the Rev. Mr Wyatt, vicar cf Bombay, a service was held last Sunday in Messrs Yates' Te Hihi iichool, and the congregation of about thirty which assembled to welcome him listened with much interest and edification to an earnest address based on the parables of the lost sheep, lost com ard lost son. The Sacrament of Holy Communion was administered and a collection was taken on behalf of the Home Mission Fund, a fund which appeals to all church-goers as it is the only means whereby tbe dwellers in the back-hlocks obtain the ministrations of the Gospel. This was the first service held in the school, and it is toped that regular services may be arranged.
