Player's Leg Broken.
When playing- for Tahuna against I'ort Waikato at tho Waiuku Recreation ground on Saturday, Tommy Flavell, captain of the Tahuna team, bad tho misfortune to get his log broken. Dr. Howilen was quickly in attendance upon tho injure.l player, whom ho fcuml had sustained a bimpli iracturo of tho right log just below tli<? knee. The mishap was accidental .nut was not uaunj-l by any rough play. Havcd. who resides* out Waipipi Uis'l'j.ct, was kindly nceommouateil in Waiuku prior to his departure for Auckland hospital on tho Monday, whoro he ,wki hay; *<> stay for some weeks.
