MERCER.
THE CHURCH GROUND.
The ground 'kindly given by Mr Landon for a Church of England in Mercer was surveyed on Saturday last by Mr J. K. Ledger, who generously presented the church with a plan free of charge. Mr George Lippiatt and family, assisted by friends, gave a most enjoyable evening in the Town Hall on Friday last in aid of the Englfsh Church.
