MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Pukekohe— Thursday.

In the Magistrate's Court, Pukekohe, on Thursday, bofore Messrs Lawrio and Barter, JV.P., several cases were heard.

H. Graham r. T. P. Hughes, claim £8 8s Id. Verdict for plaintiff with Ms costs.

Three cases versus O'Connor and Talbot (J. M. Gardner £3O, Edward Crum £IOO, aud J. Wolstenholme £7l 10s od) were adjourned as the cases could not be taken before the justices. J. Fausett v. J. Koane was a claim for £6, potato seed and chftff supplied. In this case it appeared that Keane was to provide land, machinery, etc., for a potato crop and that one Bampton was to supply the seed, manure, etc. Bampton ordered the goods supplied. Plaintiff was non-suited, each party to pay his own costs. It is understood that this case, will be again brought on before the Magistrate.

W. Roulston v. F. J. Goldsworthy, claim £9 10s 7d. Judgment for plaintiff for the amount with £1 4s 6d costs.

R. McCowen y. Reuben Woods, claim £l9 9s Id. For plaintiff with £2 Gs Od costs. In a judgment summons case Green anil Colobrook v. G. Wehi Wehi, £7 L3s 9d, judgment debtor agreed to an order to pay os per week, judgment to be subject to the Magistrate's approval. Police v. Arthur Boyle was an application for tho issue of a prohibition order, Tho Court found there was not sufficient ovidence and dismissed the case.

S. Aiselby, charged with cruelly ill-treating a horse at Onewhero by working it with a sore back, was fined £2 and lis 6d costs.

John Poland, charged with having used indecent language at Tuakau, on April 25th, was lined 10a and costs £1 lis.
