STICKING TO BUTTER.
Decision at Waiuku. A big meeting, attended by over 200 dairymen from all parts of the Waiuku distiict (including Aka Aka, Otaua, Glenbrook, Kohe Kohe, etc,) was held at Waiuku on Wednesday evening. It was almost unanimously decided to continue to make butter and not to change to cheese. The proposed sites for the new Waiuku factory provoked a fairly warm discussion and the final selection of the site was ultimately left in the hands of the directors.
The general manager, Mr Pacey, delivered a lengthy aldress on the work of the past year. He dealt fully wi!h the proposal to establish a separate factory at Waiuku and to move the Pukckohfc factory either to Buckland or 'l'uakuu.
As our report of the proceedings is very lengthy we are unable to find room for it to-day. It will appear in Tuesday's "Times."
