FARMERS' CLASSES.
If the number of farmers who were present on Monday afternoon at I'ukekohe at the conference arranged by the Advisory Technical Committer to meet Mr Donnan, agricultural instructor to the Auckland Education Board, was not as large as was hopod. there was no cause of complaint at ths thorough interest taken. Mr Donnan outlined the subjects which would be dealt with in the classes, and after numerous questions had been asked and suggestions made those present declared themselves satisfied that farmers' classes on those lines would be of great benefit to the district. It was proposed that included in the classes would lie lectures by various experts, and on certain evenings members would contribute papers which would be open lor criticism. Mr Donnan will confer with Mr George George and it is hoped shortly to make a Jefinitc pronouncement us to the subjects to be taken, fees, and dates of classes.
