POST OFFICE CLOCK

During his visit to Pukekohc u.i Friday representations were made to the Prime Minister with regard to the desirability of having a town clock erected above the pest office. It was suggested that JEIOO could be raised by public subscription to purchase the clock and the Prime Minister was asked to have the necessary tower erected/* Mr Msssjy replied that if the clock—a good clock—were provided bv the people he would tecommend his colleague to bi.ild the tower. There is no doubt that a tower clock would be a distinctive and useful addition to the business part of Pukekohe.
