EXHIBITION CONCERT CO.
At the Premier hall on Thursday night Pukekohe is to be visited by the Exhibition Concert Co.. among the vocalißt3 being Malame NewburySpada, Mr Martin Duff, Miss Kathleen Major and Mr Gilbert Manttan. Madame Spada is noted as a fine soprano. As a tenor, Mr Duff has few iquals; he has met with great success whenever he has appeared before New Zealand audiences. By birth a Scotchman, he is one of the best tenors that the land o' cakes has produced. Since the opening of the Auckland Exhibition he has been making Auckland audiences happy, and is leaving shortly for England. Miss Major has also done wonderful work throughout the Dominion, and is in herself an entertainer that draws her audience towards her. Miss Major has a delightful contralto voice. The company is under the management of Mr Gilbert Manttan, and he also is possessed of an exceptionally rich bass voice and should be heard to advantage. The pianist Is Mr Henri Etiennie.
