PIGEON SHOOTING.
Pukekohe Gun Club.
The Pukekohe Gun Club had another big and successful day on Saturday. The first Bix-bird aweepstakes was won by J. Fauselt, R. McGough and Daysh dividing second and third prizes. For this event there were 17 competitors. There were 18 shootists for Mr R. Miller's trophy, a ten-bird event. S. Fitness, 10 yards, won wi'h 9 birds. Others: J. Fausett, W. Wilson, A. P. Daysh, W. F. Johns, Vujucicb, J. Blake and R. McGough, 7 each; J. Reynolds, 6 birds; j. Wright, F. Mouldey, L. Roose, C. McCormick, J. M. Privac and W. McNally, 5 each; H. Stuart, 4; J. Gardner, 3; E. McGough, 2. J. Fausett and W. Wilson tied with six birds each in the second sixbird aweepatakes. A ten-bird practice sweepstakes was carried off by W. Wilson with 10 birds, nine first-barrel. The shooting in this was particularly good. J. Fausett and A. P. Daysh got 9 each;. F. Mouldey, J. Reynolds and J. Wright, 8 each.
