PUBLISHER'S CHAT.
At last week's meeting of th* Franklin County Council a motion was passed authorising the "Pukekohe and Waiuku Times " to announce its appointment to be the official advertising medium of the Franklin County Council. During the discussion the opinion was expressed that as the "Times" circulates throughout the district, and reports the meetings of the Council for the benefit of the ratepayers, the Council should do what it can to help the " Times." This seems to bo Another gratifying instance of the sentiment: "The Times helps the district, let the district - help the Times." We heartily appreciate the kindly co-opera-tion.
