LYCEUM PICTURES.
An extra good programme is promised for to-night and to-morrow night. The star picture, "King of the Forest," gives a most realistic impression of the ravages of the mighty king, the Lion, when it invades th 3 sparse settlements of the rural backwoods. In this picture a mother who has lost her child becomes impressed with the idea that a fcungry lion has carried off the child, in a state tf delirium she enters tha forest and puraies the King of the Fortst through the tangle of jungle. It would take pages to describe this fascinating screen play, but the foregoing is the keynote of the film. Other supporting subjects are: "Tim Grogan's Foundling," a fine Vita drama; "Saved by a Child"; "l'he Female Detective"; "Haunted Hotel"; "Basso, the Ape"; "Cascades of Lin"; "The Cure"; and the latest gazette; altogether a first-class programme.
